Darali K. Mixon is Owner/Broker of United Country-Mixon Real Estate. She is a native of LeFlore County, and grew up in Heavener, Oklahoma, on the family cattle and hay ranch. She has an Associate’s Degree from Carl Albert State College in Poteau, and a Bachelor’s Degree in counseling from Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, OK.
Darali Mixon obtained her real estate license in 1995, and began working for her mother and father-in-law, Jim and Lois Mixon, as a sales associate in the family business which has been established in Poteau since 1957.

Darali and the Mixon Family spend their time away from the office on a private hobby farm just outside of Poteau where they enjoy their French Bulldogs, horses and gardening.

Sam lives with wife Tami of 33 years on their ranch in Talihina, Ok. They have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Sam is a graduate of Oklahoma Horseshoeing School. Jeff grew up in Leflore County on a small country farm. He graduated from Carl Albert State College in 1988 with Associates in Science, and then attended Northeastern State University where he graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor Degree in Finance. Jeff Worked in banking field for 18 years where he held various management positions with Chief Lending Officer as last position held. He understands the full process for buying and selling of property.
Jeff currently owns a cattle ranch where he runs a 100 head cow calf operation. Jeff is married to Holly and resides in Poteau; he has three daughters, 3 grand daughters and one grandson. He loves his family and loves enjoying the outdoors with all of them. He is an avid hunter and fisherman. Jeff is a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Howe, OK., and serves as a Sunday school teacher and also serves on the Church Finance Committee.

Art and Stella were both born in Howe, Ok and now reside in Poteau. They have spent most of their lives here in LeFlore County and were married in 1993. Art has worked in the coal mines, building trade and worked in the County Clerks' Office at the courthouse for 21 years with most of it serving as 1st Deputy until he retired in 2003. After his retirement, he temporarily went back into the building trade and also worked two years for 1st Nat'l Bank as inspector/appraiser. Stella served in the Leflore County Treasurers' Office for 27 years, the last 8 years serving as the County Treasurer until her retirement in 2004. She and Art both are looking forward to serving the people of Leflore County once again in this new capacity.
Brooke Evans was born in Ft. Smith AR and grew up on a Ranch near Poteau Oklahoma. She graduated from Carl Albert State College with an Associates degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Marketing. Brooke currently works at Well Completions LLC a family owned Oilfield business. She is on the Poteau Chamber of Commerce Board and spends a great deal of her time in community affairs. Brooke is a 2015 graduate of Leadership LeFlore County. She has obtained her State and National level FFA Degree. In her spare time Brooke plays golf at Wolf Ridge Country Club. Budge Herbert was born and raised in Leflore county. He grew up on a cattle ranch in Wister, Oklahoma. He graduated from Wister High School in 1995 and began classes at Eastern Oklahoma State College. In 1996 he graduated from Oklahoma’s Farrier College. He has been working as a farrier for the last 19 years. Along with his farrier business he also trains horses, has a small cattle operation, and owns/operates Heavener Mini Storage. He and his wife Samantha have 2 children and reside in Heavener Ok.
Jim Mixon is a lifelong resident of LeFlore County. He is married to Lois and they reside on a farm located near Poteau. Jim is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University of Abilene, Texas with a degree in business and economics. Jim Mixon is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Brant grew up in the country five miles east of Cameron, Oklahoma. He graduated from Cameron High School in 1991 and from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Apprenticeship Program in 2000. Brant worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 17 years and began investing in his own small businesses. He holds an Oklahoma and Arkansas Journeyman Electrician license, an Oklahoma Home Inspector license, and an Oklahoma Real Estate license. Brant currently resides in Poteau with his wife Melana. Monte Shockley II born and raised in Poteau, Ok. He is married to Ashley and have three children, they live on their ranch near Poteau. They attend Poteau First United Methodist Church and is on the Poteau City Council. Monte owns Shockley Ranch, which is a seedstock Registered Hereford operation with 250 females, annually they sell cattle to other breeders in 11 different states, also harvesting all of their own hay for winter feeding. The family spends their time on the ranch improving the land and strive to produce the best possible cattle in the breed. Monte and his family are a very active outdoors, spending their free time trail riding horseback, hunting, fishing, and camping.
